Nate and Adam "[F]rom the very beginning of human existence until the Industrial Age, human beings spent far more time playing than working. In the Medieval Age, for example, nearly half the days of the Christian calendrical year were holidays, feast days, or days of rest. Only in the Industrial Age did work come to dominate human affairs and play recede to the background." Jeremy Rifkin - "The Age of Access"

So what do I do when I play? Well, it seems the list only gets longer and longer. Juggling has been my primary passion for over twelve years; travel gets it's own section; rock, aid, and ice climbing are fairly recent additions; plus add in snowboarding, mountain biking, and more relaxed pastimes like reading and watching movies and I manage to keep myself pretty busy.

This picture to the left is my friend Adam and me doing a double fireblast in the backyard of our old apartment in San Francisco. A much more impressive one can be found on the juggling page.

Juggling
A collection of photos, movies, and links dedicated to the art I love.

Rock Climbing
A collection of photos and stories.

Aid Climbing
Three walls and two of the big ones out of the way.

Ice Climbing
A collection of photos, movies, and stories from my first season on ice.

Snowboarding
It's been a long time since I've been snowboarding and I miss it. Hopefully I'll start up with it again soon.

Camping
I finally got a new addition to this page and a very amusing trip it was.

Movies
A list of some of my favorites and a little plug for Netflix, the future of movie rentals.

Television
Since the television was invented, there has been a mind boggling amount of things to watch on it. If I had to choose two shows to watch for the rest of my life, it would be a cartoon and a show about nothing. Can you guess what those are?
