"[F]rom the very beginning of human existence until the Industrial Age, human beings spent far more time playing than working. In the Medieval Age, for example, nearly half the days of the Christian calendrical year were holidays, feast days, or days of rest. Only in the Industrial Age did work come to dominate human affairs and play recede to the background." Jeremy Rifkin - "The Age of Access" So what do I do when I play? Well, it seems the list only gets longer and longer. Juggling has been my primary passion for over twelve years; travel gets it's own section; rock, aid, and ice climbing are fairly recent additions; plus add in snowboarding, mountain biking, and more relaxed pastimes like reading and watching movies and I manage to keep myself pretty busy. This picture to the left is my friend Adam and me doing a double fireblast in the backyard of our old apartment in San Francisco. A much more impressive one can be found on the juggling page.
