Nate on the Nipple Aid climbing is still fairly new to me and although I don't feel as passionate about it as the free climbing, it's still an amazing expereience. It's much different than free climbing but the places it gets you tend to be so much more spectacular. The constant exposure of a vertical rock face for days in a row puts you in a whole new world and a whole new head space. Both walls were an undertaking and a struggle but with a little more experience I can see less time being spent on concentrating on technique and more time on the enjoyment of the experience.

I followed my first wall, jumped on El Cap for the second, and recently did the vertical face of Half Dome as the third. I don't have much ambition to pursue to much more with it but I'd like to do El Cap at least one more time, and most likely via The Nose.

The picture to the left shows me leading the Nipple Pitch on Zodiac.

West Face of Leaning Tower
This was my first big wall but I can't take credit for much since I just followed the whole way ascending fixed lines. Our friend Ammon took us up it in a push (doing it in a day) and it was still a crazy experience and great intro to aid climbing.

Zodiac, El Capitan
A couple months after doing West Face, Mike and I decided to jump on El Cap and do a route called Zodiac. This was our first wall on our own and it was a definite learning experience.

Regular Route, Half Dome
Half Dome was our second wall and it went more smoothly than our first. We didn't have a port-a-ledge this time but the hauling was harder, the approach was heinous, and the descent was eternal. Other than that it was a great time.
